How to Nominate Your Warhammer Hero
Nominations are now open for those who’ve made a significant impact on your Warhammer journey. Think about the people who’ve shaped your hobby experience—whether they’ve run unforgettable tournaments, helped you perfect your painting skills, or encouraged your love for the game—and nominate them through the official online form.
Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 PM GMT on January 31, 2025, and while you can nominate as many people as you like, each nomination must be submitted on a separate form.
Note that Games Workshop staff members aren’t eligible for these awards, as the focus is on recognizing heroes within the community.
Unfortunately, you can’t nominate yourself—this is all about celebrating those who’ve made an impression on others.
If you’ve been a standout in your local scene, your friends or fellow hobbyists might already have you in mind!
The Rewards of Being a Warhammer Hero
Selected heroes will be honored with a beautiful Warhammer Heroes medal and a collection of exclusive goodies. They’ll also be invited to a special Awards Evening, complete with accommodation for one night and an invitation for a guest.
These celebrations are not to be missed—2024’s heroes enjoyed unforgettable events at the World Championships of Warhammer in Atlanta and the legendary Warhammer World in Nottingham.
And the recognition doesn’t end there. Every Warhammer Hero will have their name immortalized on the Wall of Honour in Bugman’s Bar at Warhammer World, a tribute for the entire community to see.
If a chosen hero cannot attend the Awards Evening, Games Workshop will do everything possible to accommodate their situation, including mailing the medal if needed.
While the medals and goodies are non-exchangeable for cash or products, their unique value lies in celebrating the recipient’s contributions to the hobby.
Who Chooses the Heroes?
The winners are selected by a panel of experts from the Warhammer Community team and other areas of Games Workshop. The selection process focuses on the quality of a nominee’s deeds rather than the quantity of nominations, so a heartfelt submission can truly make a difference.
If you’re unsure about the full name of your nominee, provide as much detail as possible in your submission. The team will do their best to track them down, though success isn’t guaranteed.
