November 6th: Dark Angels Chapter Cosmetics will arrive in December
Known as the Emperor’s first Space Marine Legion, the Dark Angels bring their distinctive deep green armor and iconic off-white robes of penitence to the game.

October 15, 2024 – Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment have unveiled an extensive roadmap of free content for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
Key updates include:
- New PvE operation featuring the formidable Hierophant Bio-Titan
- “Lethal Difficulty” mode for Operations
- Addition of the Neo-Volkite pistol
The Hierophant, one of the largest Tyranid bio-forms encountered, promises to be a formidable foe. Comparable in size and power to an Imperial Titan, it’s armed with massive Bio-cannons and protected by a thick, poisonous hide. This biotitan’s inclusion hints at an escalation of the Tyranid threat in-game.
The introduction of the Neo-Volkite pistol is particularly exciting for lore enthusiasts. Volkite weapons, thermal ray armaments dating back to the Age of Technology, were once common in Space Marine Legions but became extremely rare by the 41st Millennium.
Their reintroduction, attributed to Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl’s genius, adds a powerful and lore-rich option to players’ arsenals.
Season Pass owners will receive Dark Angels-themed cosmetics, with hints of future chapter-specific content.
Fan reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. Players are praising the developers’ dedication to Warhammer lore and expressing enthusiasm for the new PvE content, particularly the Hierophant boss fight. PvP players are eagerly anticipating new arenas and game modes.
