The Daemonettes of Slaanesh vie for the favor of their Dark Prince, each striving to be closer to his divine presence. Among these coveted positions are the handmaidens, the chosen few who embody speed, grace, and lethal beauty, also known as the Heralds of Slaanesh.
The Herald of Slaanesh stands as a fearsome addition to any daemonic miniature collection. Her slender, elongated legs possess a seductive human form, tapering down into devilish hooves. Her arms, too, undergo a captivating transformation, morphing into immense, curved chitinous weapons. With her hair standing on end, she unveils a snarling countenance, revealing her razor-sharp teeth. Adorned in a flowing robe, she dons intricate armor that adorns her shoulders and torso, featuring ornate decorative swirls and sporadic gemstone accents.

How to paint the Tranceweaver/Viceleader, Herald of Slaanesh set
- Step 1: Basecoat the miniature.
Apply a basecoat of pink to the skin areas using Emperor’s Children. Use a light purple for the robes, like Xereus Purple, and a metallic silver for the armor, such as Leadbelcher. - Step 2: Add highlights.
Apply a lighter shade of pink, like Pink Horror, to the raised areas of the skin to create highlights. Use a lighter purple, such as Genestealer Purple, to highlight the edges of the robes. For the armor, apply a lighter silver, like Ironbreaker, to the raised surfaces. - Step 3: Paint the details.
Use a deep red, such as Khorne Red, for the hair and the intricate designs on the armor. Apply a dark purple, like Naggaroth Night, to the chitinous weapons. Add small dots of bright green, such as Moot Green, to represent gemstone details. - Step 4: Wash the miniature.
Apply a wash of purple, like Druchii Violet, to the robes, skin, and hair. Use a black wash, such as Nuln Oil, to add depth and shadows to the armor and chitinous weapons. Be careful not to let the wash pool in recessed areas. - Step 5: Highlight the details.
Use a lighter red, like Evil Sunz Scarlet, to highlight the hair and the designs on the armor. Apply a lighter purple, such as Xereus Purple, to the edges of the robes. Highlight the chitinous weapons with a lighter purple, like Screamer Pink. - Step 6: Paint the base.
Choose a suitable color for the base, such as a dark gray or brown. Add texture by drybrushing with a lighter shade, like Administratum Grey. Finish by applying tufts or static grass for added realism. - Step 7: Varnish the miniature.
To protect your hard work, apply a layer of varnish using a matte or satin finish. This will help preserve the paint job and reduce the risk of chipping or fading. - Step 8: Optional: Add additional details.
If desired, you can further enhance the miniature by adding additional details like freehand designs, tattoos, or glazes to create subtle color transitions.
