Prepare to witness the rise of a fearsome duo that will redefine conquest in the realms of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Syll Lewdtongue, an inspiring figure notorious for instigating countless warlords towards tyranny and misrule, has now joined forces with the megalomaniacal Daemon monarch, Esske, transforming into a force of unmatched power and dominance: Syll’Esske.

Combining the indomitable might of a Daemon Prince with the cunning intellect of a Herald of Slaanesh, Syll’Esske emerges as a terrorizing tag-team, whose presence alone is enough to send shivers down the spines of their adversaries. With their deadly prowess, they carve a path drenched in blood across the vast battlefields of both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

What sets Syll’Esske apart is their exceptional ability to pile in and launch devastating attacks not once, but twice, leaving their enemies reeling in the wake of their brutal onslaught. Their proficiency as front-line combatants is unmatched, as they employ a formidable array of support abilities to enhance and empower the Daemons fighting alongside them.

How to paint the Syll’Esske: The Vengeful Allegiance set

  1. Step 1: Prime your model
Apply a thin and even layer of Chaos Black or White Scar spray to the miniature. This will provide a smooth surface for the paints to adhere to.
  2. Step 2: Base coat the model
Start by applying the base colors to different parts of the model. For Syll’Esske, use Naggaroth Night for the armor and Emperor’s Children for the skin. Use a medium-sized brush and apply thin coats, allowing each layer to dry before moving on.
  3. Step 3: Highlight the details
Using a smaller brush, carefully pick out the smaller details on the model. For example, you can use Genestealer Purple to add highlights to the armor and use Pink Horror to highlight the skin. Focus on raised areas and edges.
  4. Step 4: Wash for depth
Apply washes to add depth and shadows to the model. For Syll’Esske, use Druchii Violet for the armor and Carroburg Crimson for the skin. Apply the washes selectively, focusing on recessed areas and crevices.
  5. Step 5: Add additional layers
Apply additional layers of paint to enhance the details. For example, you can use Xereus Purple to further highlight the armor, or use Emperor’s Children mixed with a touch of White Scar for extra highlights on the skin.
  6. Step 6: Fine details and finishing touches
Use a fine brush to paint small details like eyes, teeth, and symbols. For example, you can use Pink Horror for the eyes, and mix a little White Scar with Emperor’s Children for the teeth. Be patient and steady-handed for these intricate details.
  7. Step 7: Bases and basing
Paint the base to complement your model. You can use textures, such as Astrogranite Debris, and add drybrush highlights with Administratum Grey. Additionally, you can glue on small rocks or grass tufts for added realism.
  8. Step 8: Varnish and protect
Once you’re satisfied with your paint job, apply a varnish to protect the model. Matte varnish will give a non-glossy finish, while gloss varnish will provide a shiny look. Apply thin coats and let them dry completely.
