How to paint the Shadowseer set

1. Step 1: Base Coat
   Start by applying a base coat of black paint to the Shadowseer’s clothing and other areas. Use a black paint like Abaddon Black or any other black paint of your choice to cover the entire model evenly.
2. Step 2: Robes
   Paint the robes with a deep purple color, such as Xereus Purple or Naggaroth Night. Apply the paint carefully, ensuring smooth and even coverage over the robes.
3. Step 3: Mask
   Paint the mask with a bone or ivory color, like Ushabti Bone or Screaming Skull. This will create a stark contrast to the dark clothing. Take your time to paint the mask neatly.
4. Step 4: Gemstones
   Add a touch of color to the gemstones on the model. For example, you can use colors like Sotek Green / Caliban Green for green gemstones, or Soulstone Blue / Baharroth Blue for blue gemstones. Apply the chosen color to the gemstones, creating small points of vibrant color.
5. Step 5: Metallic Details
   Paint any metallic details, such as the trims or weaponry, with metallic paints like Leadbelcher or Balthasar Gold. This will add a metallic sheen to the model and make these details stand out.
6. Step 6: Highlights
   Use a slightly lighter shade of purple to highlight the edges and raised areas of the robes. For example, you can use Genestealer Purple or Xereus Purple mixed with a bit of white. Apply the lighter color sparingly to create subtle highlights, enhancing the depth of the robes.
7. Step 7: Details
   Add further details to the model, such as runes, symbols, or patterns, using colors that complement the overall color scheme. For example, you can use white, gold, or other contrasting colors to make these details pop.
8. Step 8: Wash
   Apply a wash, such as Nuln Oil or Agrax Earthshade, to the entire model. This will settle into the recesses, adding shading and depth to the paintwork. Be sure to wipe off any excess wash to maintain clarity.
9. Step 9: Varnish
   Protect your beautifully painted Shadowseer with a coat of varnish. Choose a matte varnish to maintain a sleek and professional finish.
