How to paint the Sergeant Harker set

  1. Step 1: Prime the Model
    Apply a base coat of Chaos Black Spray Primer to Sergeant Harker to provide a smooth surface for painting.
  2. Step 2: Base Colors
    Start by applying the base colors to the different areas of the model. For the clothing, use Mournfang Brown. Paint the armor with Leadbelcher, and the weapons with Abaddon Black.
  3. Step 3: Wash
    Apply a shade of Agrax Earthshade selectively to the model to add depth and shading to the recessed areas.
  4. Step 4: Highlights
    Use lighter shades of the base colors to highlight the raised areas of the model. For the clothing, use Baneblade Brown. Highlight the armor with Ironbreaker, and the weapons with Eshin Grey.
  5. Step 5: Face and Skin
    Paint the skin using Cadian Fleshtone, and add highlights with Kislev Flesh. Paint the eyes with Mephiston Red, and use White Scar for the teeth.
  6. Step 6: Fine Details
    Use colors like XV-88 for belts and straps, and Zandri Dust for pouches and insignias. Paint the rifle scope with Ahriman Blue, and the lenses with Moot Green.
  7. Step 7: Base
    Paint the base with Rhinox Hide, and dry brush it with Karak Stone. Add static grass or tufts to enhance the base.
  8. Step 8: Varnish
    Once the paint is dry, apply a layer of Lahmian Medium to protect the model. You can choose to apply a matte or gloss varnish for the desired finish.
  9. Step 9: Optional Weathering
    If desired, you can add weathering effects to Sergeant Harker’s armor and weapons. Use techniques like Ryza Rust or Typhus Corrosion for rust effects, and Nihilakh Oxide for verdigris.
  10. Step 10: Final Touches
