A fearsome and relentless force chosen from the most savage and bloodthirsty followers of the World Eaters. These elite cultists, though human, strive to mirror the unhinged brutality of their gore-crazed masters in every possible way, throwing themselves into battle with unbridled frenzy. Fueling their unstoppable fury are chemical stimms and tainted blood, carried in tanks strapped to their backs, propelling them into a relentless assault of hacking and slashing with their deadly chain weapons, all in their relentless pursuit of earning the favor of their blood-drenched lords.
This kit allows you to assemble a squad of 10 Jakhals – dedicated human cultists sworn to the service of the World Eaters. Each model is equipped with paired chainblades and holstered autopistols, showcasing their readiness for close-quarters combat. Additionally, every Jakhals carries a container of sinister chemicals, representing their volatile state of battle-enhancing frenzy. Among the ranks of these formidable warriors, you’ll find a towering Dishonoured, larger and more powerful than their comrades. The Dishonoured can be armed with a spiked skullsmasher mace, further increasing their devastating impact on the battlefield.
This versatile kit also offers various customization options, enabling you to create unique Jakhals and Dishonoured throughout your army. One Jakhals can be armed with a two-handed mauler chainblade, while another can be adorned with a skull-strung Jakhal icon, signifying their grim allegiance. Additionally, the kit includes parts to build a Jakhal Pack Leader, distinguished by a grisly trophy rack, showcasing their prowess and leadership. Further adding to the diversity of your force, you’ll discover an abundance of cosmetic build options. These include a range of interchangeable heads, weapons, and arms, allowing you to mix and match components to create dynamic and individualized models across your entire army.

How to paint the Jakhals set
- Step 1: Clean the Model
Ensure your Jakhals model is clean and free from any dust or debris. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently remove any particles that may affect the paint application. - Step 2: Prime the Model
Apply a suitable primer to the model. Priming helps the paint adhere better and provides a smooth surface for painting. Use a spray such as a Chaos Black to speed up this process while also ensuring even coverage across the entire model. - Step 3: Basecoat
Apply the base colors to the model using a suitable brush. For example, you can use Khorne Red for the armor, Leadbelcher for metallic parts, and Rakarth Flesh for the skin. Apply thin, even coats, allowing each layer to dry before moving on to the next. - Step 4: Wash and Shade
Apply washes or shades to enhance the depth and details of the model. Use a wash like Agrax Earthshade for the red areas and Nuln Oil for the metallic parts. Apply the wash to recessed areas and let it flow naturally to create shadows and definition. - Step 5: Highlights
Highlight raised areas and edges to create contrast and add dimension. Use a lighter shade of the base color or a suitable highlight color. For example, you can use Evil Sunz Scarlet to highlight the edges of the red areas and Ironbreaker for the metallic highlights. Apply these highlights sparingly, focusing on the most prominent areas. - Step 6: Detailing
Add finer details to bring your Jakhals to life. Use a smaller brush and appropriate colors to paint the smaller elements such as weapons, icons, and accessories. Consider using Balthasar Gold for the trimmings, Mephiston Red for the details on the weapons, and Pallid Wych Flesh for the teeth and bone-like parts. - Step 7: Basing
Prepare the base of the model to complement the paint scheme. Apply texture paint or flocking material for a realistic ground effect. You can also add additional elements like rocks or grass tufts for extra detail. - Step 8: Varnish
Protect your finished paintwork with a suitable varnish. Apply a thin, even coat of matte, satin, or gloss varnish to preserve the colors and provide a protective layer. - Step 9: Final Touches
Add any final touches to your Jakhals, such as weathering effects or freehand designs, to further personalize the model. You can use techniques like drybrushing with Ryza Rust for rust effects or applying small scratches with a fine brush and Eshin Grey.
