What’s in the Ezekiel, Grand Master of Librarians box

  • x1 metal miniature of Ezekiel, Grand Master of Librarians
  • x1 Citadel 25mm round base (This model is old, for tournament settings we recommend you glue him to a 32mm base. It’s also pretty tall at around 3″ so it also helps with that)

How to paint the Ezekiel, Grand Master of Librarians

  1. Step 1: Cloaked in Ivory
Begin by painting Ezekiel’s cloak and robes in a creamy ivory color, such as Ushabti Bone or a similar off-white shade. Ensure to cover the cloak and robes evenly with a smooth base coat.
  2. Step 2: Blue Armor
Next, paint Ezekiel’s armor in a deep blue color, like the shade of Calgar Blue or another blue hue of your choice. This will be the main color for his armor.
  3. Step 3: Gold Embellishments
Add the intricate gold details to Ezekiel’s armor and accessories. Use a metallic gold paint, such as Retributor Armor, to highlight the chapter symbols, decorative elements, and other ornaments.
  4. Step 4: Red Details
Add some vibrant red details to certain areas, like the purity seals or chapter markings, using Mephiston Red or another bright red paint.
  5. Step 5: Enlightening the Eyes
For Ezekiel’s eyes, use a bright color like Moot Green to make them stand out and add a sense of power and focus.
  6. Step 6: Shading and Highlighting
To give Ezekiel’s cloak, robes, and armor depth and realism, apply shading and highlighting techniques. Use Drakenhof Nightshade for shading the blue armor and Seraphim Sepia for the ivory cloak and robes. For highlighting, use lighter shades of blue and ivory to accentuate the raised areas.
  7. Step 7: The Majestic Banner
Focus on painting Ezekiel’s banner on his back. Use vibrant colors to make the banner stand out, such as Mephiston Red for any red elements, Averland Sunset for yellow, and Macragge Blue for blue accents.
  8. Step 8: Freehand Details (Optional)
If you’re feeling artistic, you can add freehand designs or chapter insignia to the banner. This will further showcase Ezekiel’s prestige and rank.
  9. Step 9: Final Touches
Review your work and make any necessary touch-ups to ensure a clean and polished appearance for Ezekiel.
