The Daemon Princes, once mortal champions of Chaos, now stand as eternal daemons, bestowed with otherworldly gifts by their fickle patrons. These monstrous beings embody the malevolent might of Chaos, wielding warp-forged weapons, immense strength, and unholy sorcery as they stride or soar across the battlefield, casting an ominous shadow of impending doom.

This multipart plastic kit allows you to construct a Daemon Prince, a formidable champion of Chaos suitable for both Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000. With a plethora of customization options, you can tailor the model to your chosen setting, Chaos God allegiance, and personal style. The kit includes various leg options, including clawed or hooved legs, perched upon a cracked rock or a mound of skulls and stones. The muscular torso offers two sets of armor: an ornate breastplate for the Mortal Realms or a twisted version of power armor for the 41st Millennium. Both options feature distinctive pauldrons and vambrace-clad forearms.

Arming the Daemon Prince offers flexibility, as you can choose between a hellforged sword, a daemonic axe, or a pair of malefic talons, with different arm poses available. Additionally, the model features various back configurations, including wings, a gruesome trophy rack, or a corrupted Heretic Astartes power pack. To further personalize your creation, the kit provides six different heads representing each Chaos God, as well as two for Chaos Undivided. Various trophies, Chaotic symbols, and tail tips are also included, allowing you to dedicate your Daemon Prince to the Ruinous Powers with intricate detail and symbolism.

  • x1 Citadel 60mm Round base.

How to paint the Daemon Prince set

  1. Step 1: Priming
Clean the Daemon Prince miniature using warm, soapy water to remove any residue. Rinse it thoroughly and let it dry.
Prime the model with Chaos Black spray paint. Apply thin and even coats, ensuring complete coverage. Allow the primer to dry before proceeding.
  2. Step 2: Base Colors
Start by painting the skin areas of the Daemon Prince with Mephiston Red. Apply two thin coats for a solid red base.
Paint the armor and other metallic details, such as weapons and accessories, with Retributor Armor.
Use Abaddon Black for other details, such as belts, straps, and other smaller elements.
  3. Step 3: Washes
Apply Agrax Earthshade wash over the red skin areas, focusing on the recesses. This will add depth and definition.
Use Nuln Oil wash on the metallic parts, such as the armor and weapons, to enhance their appearance.
  4. Step 4: Highlights and Details
Apply a layer of Evil Sunz Scarlet to the raised areas of the red skin to create highlights and bring out the texture.
Highlight the metallic details, such as the armor and weapons, with Liberator Gold.
Use Eshin Grey for any black details, such as belts or straps, adding highlights with Dawnstone.
  5. Step 5: Additional Details
Paint any eyes or small details with White Scar for a striking contrast.
Apply a thin layer of Carroburg Crimson to areas where you want to create a blood effect, such as wounds or splatters.
Use Runefang Steel to highlight any additional metallic areas.
  6. Step 6: Basing
Apply texture paint, such as Agrellan Badland or Martian Ironcrust, to the base of the model to create a cracked earth effect.
Once dry, wash the base with Agrax Earthshade to add depth to the texture.
Drybrush the base with Tyrant Skull or Ushabti Bone to create a dry and dusty appearance.
Optionally, you can add World Eaters-themed details like skulls, spikes, or World Eaters symbols.
