How to paint the Succubus set

  1. Step 1: Prime the Miniature
Start by applying a thin layer of primer to the entire Succubus model. This helps the paint adhere better and provides a smooth surface for painting.
  2. Step 2: Base Coat the Armor
Using a medium-sized brush, apply a base coat of your chosen color to the armor parts of the model. For example, you can use a deep red like Khorne Red or a dark purple like Naggaroth Night. Apply the paint evenly, covering all the armor areas.
  3. Step 3: Highlight the Armor
With a smaller brush, add highlights to the armor by applying a lighter shade of your chosen color to the raised areas. This technique adds depth and brings out the details of the model. For example, you can use Wazdakka Red for highlighting Khorne Red or Xereus Purple for highlighting Naggaroth Night.
  4. Step 4: Paint the Skin
Using a small brush, paint the skin areas of the Succubus model. You can choose a pale flesh tone like Eldar Flesh or a more vibrant tone like Cadian Fleshtone. Apply the paint evenly, ensuring good coverage.
  5. Step 5: Enhance the Skin
With an even smaller brush, add highlights to the skin by applying a lighter shade of flesh tone to the raised areas. This step adds depth and definition to the model’s features. For example, you can use Flayed One Flesh for highlighting the skin tone you used previously.
    Step 6: Paint the Details
Using various colors of your choice, paint the details of the Succubus model, such as the hair, weapons, and accessories. Experiment with different shades and combinations to create a unique look. For example, you can use Tuskgor Fur for the hair, Leadbelcher for the weapons, and Mephiston Red for the blood drops or accents.
  6. Step 7: Add Washes
Using a medium-sized brush, apply a wash of dark brown or black to the recessed areas of the model. This adds depth and shading to the details. For example, you can use Agrax Earthshade or Nuln Oil for this step.
  7. Step 8: Final Touches
With a fine brush, add any final details to the model, such as painting the eyes, lips, or small intricate designs. Take your time and be precise with these small details to bring your Succubus to life.
