The Great Unclean Ones, Nurgle’s most formidable daemons, dominate the battlefield with their towering presence, wielding rusted weapons, spewing vile filth, and casting disease-ridden spells upon their enemies. These terrifying beings crush their foes with immense swords and flails, while others summon fresh daemons or unleash devastating outbreaks of magical plague.

Apply a wash of Agrax Earthshade to the recesses and crevices of the model to add depth and enhance the rotting flesh effect. - Step 3: Highlights
Using a drybrush technique, apply a layer of Warpstone Glow to the raised areas of the model to create highlights and emphasize the texture of the decaying flesh. - Step 4: Details
Paint the various details on the model. For the armor, use Leadbelcher for the metallic parts and Balthasar Gold for any decorative elements. For the weapons, use Brass Scorpion for a corroded look or Rakarth Flesh for bone-like effects. Paint the Nurglings with a basecoat of Loren Forest and highlight with Straken Green. - Step 5: Decay Effects
Apply a wash of Nurgle’s Rot or Athonian Camoshade to certain areas to create a slimy or oozy appearance. Use Nuln Oil or Drakenhof Nightshade for cracks or peeling skin effects. - Step 6: Final Touches
Apply a coat of Ardcoat to areas that require a glossy or wet look. Optionally, add blood splatters using Blood for the Blood God or weathering effects with Typhus Corrosion. You can also add freehand symbols using colors like Screamer Pink or Sotek Green.
