How to paint the Daemons Of Khorne Bloodletters set

  1. Step 1: Base Coat
Using a medium-sized brush, apply a base coat of red paint to the skin and armor of the Bloodletters. You can use paints like Khorne Red or a similar vibrant red shade for this step. Ensure complete coverage and smooth application.
  2. Step 2: Metallic Details
With a smaller brush, paint the metallic details such as the weapons and armor trim using metallic paints like Leadbelcher or Balthasar Gold. Apply the paint carefully to achieve clean lines and highlight the desired areas.
  3. Step 3: Horns and Claws
Using a fine brush, paint the horns and claws of the Bloodletters with a dark brown or black color, such as Rhinox Hide or Abaddon Black. This will provide a contrasting look to the vibrant red skin.
  4. Step 4: Blood Effects
To create a striking effect, apply a glossy red paint, such as Citadel’s Blood for the Blood God or a similar transparent red shade, to areas that represent blood, such as the blades or wounds. This will give a realistic appearance of fresh blood.
  5. Step 5: Highlights
Using a fine brush, apply highlights to the raised areas of the model, such as the muscles or edges of the armor. Use a lighter shade of red, like Evil Sunz Scarlet or Wild Rider Red, to create depth and add visual interest to the Bloodletters.
  6. Step 6: Eyes and Teeth
With a small brush, carefully paint the eyes and teeth of the Bloodletters using a bright color such as white or yellow. This will make their expressions more menacing and lifelike.
  7. Step 7: Wash
Apply a wash of dark brown or black, like Agrax Earthshade or Nuln Oil, to the entire model. This will help define the details and add depth to the overall appearance.
  8. Step 8: Base
Paint the base of the Bloodletters using colors that complement the theme of your army or the battlefield. You can use a combination of brown, green, or gray shades to create a natural or desolate look.
