The Witchseeker Squads of the Silent Sisterhood wield the cleansing flame, their principal weapon against the formidable entities of the 41st Millennium. In a galaxy filled with adversaries impervious to conventional firepower, the holy promethium conjured by these warriors engulfs their targets, reducing them to ashes in a flesh-melting inferno. The Witchseekers unleash torrents of overlapping flame, drawn from their thrice-blessed flamers, leaving no trace of their enemies behind.

This multi-part plastic kit includes all the components needed to assemble a formidable Witchseeker Squad consisting of five Silent Sisterhood warriors. These dedicated fighters employ their terrifying flamer assault to devastate nearby enemies. Among the models, one can be assembled as a Sister Superior, with customizable features including a loincloth, shoulder pad, seal, and a choice of two distinct heads.

Furthermore, this versatile kit allows for optional assembly as Vigilators, specialized melee fighters armed with executioner greatswords, or as Prosecutors, who excel in flexible combat scenarios with their bolters for long-range engagements. The kit is equipped with six executioner greatswords, five Umbra-pattern boltguns, and five flamers, providing a range of deadly options to suit different battle strategies.

How to paint the Witchseeker Squad set

  1. Step 1: Prime the Models
Apply a thin and even coat of Chaos Black or White Scar spray primer to the Witchseeker Squad models. This will provide a smooth surface for the paint to adhere to.
  2. Step 2: Basecoat the Armor
Start by applying a basecoat of Averland Sunset or Iyanden Yellow to the yellow parts of the armor. Use thin layers and build up the color gradually, ensuring complete coverage. For the red areas, use Mephiston Red or Wazdakka Red as the basecoat.
  3. Step 3: Paint the Flame Weapons
Use Troll Slayer Orange or Evil Sunz Scarlet as a basecoat for the flamers carried by the Witchseekers. Apply highlights with Fire Dragon Bright or Yriel Yellow to create a realistic flame effect. Remember to paint the fuel canisters and other details using suitable colors like Leadbelcher or Abaddon Black.
  4. Step 4: Highlight the Armor
With Yriel Yellow, carefully highlight the edges and raised areas of the yellow armor to add depth and definition. Use Wild Rider Red or Wazdakka Red to highlight the red areas.
  5. Step 5: Paint the Details
Using Rakarth Flesh or Cadian Fleshtone, paint the faces of the models. Use Retributor Armor for the seals and belts, and White Scar for the symbols. Differentiate the Sister Superior by using Mephiston Red or Wazdakka Red for her loincloth.
  6. Step 6: Apply Washes
Apply Reikland Fleshshade or Carroburg Crimson wash to the red areas and Seraphim Sepia or Casandora Yellow wash to the yellow areas. This will add shading and depth to the armor and details.
  7. Step 7: Highlight the Flame Weapons
Add additional highlights to the flame weapons using Fire Dragon Bright or Flash Gitz Yellow. Focus on the tips of the flames and the areas where the fire is most intense.
  8. Step 8: Base the Models
Finish off the Witchseeker Squad by basing the models. Use Stirland Mud texture paint and add drybrush highlights with Terminatus Stone or Karak Stone. You can also add grass tufts or other basing materials for extra detail.
  9. Step 9: Varnish the Models (Optional)
For added protection, consider applying a coat of Ardcoat varnish to the painted models. This will help protect the paint job from wear and tear during gaming sessions.
