Archmagos Belisarius Cawl, a revered figure within the Adeptus Mechanicus, has stood witness to the passage of over ten thousand years since the dawn of the Imperium. Throughout his vast existence, Cawl has held prestigious titles such as Forge Lord, Lexico Arcanus, and renowned Magos Biologis. On the battlefield, he commands respect, fearlessly immersing himself in the midst of combat, assessing threats, and issuing precise orders to his troops. His formidable force field shields him from most enemy fire, and even in the face of severe damage, his mechanized body swiftly undergoes repairs, aided by swarming cables that defend against any approaching threats.
This multi-part plastic kit allows you to assemble Belisarius Cawl, the esteemed Prime Conduit of the Omnissiah. Towering above his fellow Adeptus Mechanicus brethren, his augmented form stretches far beyond the boundaries of human anatomy. Equipped with an Omnissian axe, it serves as both a formidable weapon and a platform for an array of sensors and a voice broadcasting unit. Additionally, he wields an arc scourge, a mysterious energy weapon adorned with intricate cables, sensors, and appendages. The theme of augmentation is evident throughout the miniature, with Cawl’s voluminous robes revealing a vast network of robotic extensions, extra legs, prehensile arms, and trailing cables. Overhead, a scryerskull hovers, and various symbols of the Machine God punctuate the model, emphasizing his devotion to the Omnissiah.

Apply a thin and even coat of Chaos Black or Mechanicus Standard Grey primer to the entire miniature. - Step 3: Base Coat
Use Leadbelcher as the base color for Belisarius Cawl’s armor. Apply thin layers, allowing each layer to dry before adding more. - Step 4: Detailing
Use Runelord Brass for the sensors, cables, and additional appendages. Apply carefully with a smaller brush, thinning the paint as needed for smooth coverage. For areas like the cloak or robes, you can use Mephiston Red. - Step 5: Wash
Apply Nuln Oil wash selectively to the recesses and areas that require shading. This will enhance the depth and details of the miniature. - Step 6: Highlighting
Use Stormhost Silver to add highlights to the raised areas of the miniature, creating contrast and dimension. - Step 7: Finishing Touches
Add any final details like painting symbols of the Machine God using appropriate Citadel colors. Apply a varnish or sealer to protect the paintwork and give it a finished look.
