The Kataphron Breachers are a heavily-armored unit, much larger and more powerful than regular servitors, used by Tech-Priests to breach enemy lines and fortifications. These miniatures exemplify the Adeptus Mechanicus techno-centric nature, featuring only half a human head and torso. The kit comes with three track assemblies, three sets of Breacher heads and torso armor, three interchangeable exhausts, and a wide variety of weapons including arc rifles, torsion cannons, arc claws, hydraulic claws, plasma culverin assemblies, heavy grav cannon assemblies, phosphor blaster assemblies, and three cognis flamer assemblies, providing a total of twenty-four weapon options. With optional armor and mud guards available for Breachers, these miniatures are perfect for close-quarters combat and a valuable asset for any Adeptus Mechanicus army.

How to paint the Kataphron Breachers Set
- Step 1: Prime the Miniatures
Apply a thin coat of primer to the Kataphron Breachers miniatures. Primer helps the paint adhere better and provides a smooth surface for painting. For an accurate representation, use Chaos Black Primer. - Step 2: Basecoat the Armor
Using a medium-sized brush, apply a basecoat of a suitable color, like Khorne Red, to the armor plates. Thin the paint slightly with water or a medium to achieve smoother coverage. Apply the basecoat evenly, making sure to cover all the armor surfaces. - Step 3: Shade the Armor
Switch to a smaller brush and apply a shade color, such as Carroburg Crimson, to the recessed areas of the armor. This step will add depth and definition to the miniature. Focus on the joints, crevices, and any other areas that would naturally have shadows. - Step 4: Highlight the Armor
Using an even smaller brush, carefully apply a highlight color like Evil Sunz Scarlet to the raised areas and edges of the armor. This step will create contrast and bring out the details. Concentrate on the edges, corners, and other prominent parts of the armor. - Step 5: Paint the Mechanical Parts
For the mechanical parts, use Leadbelcher as the basecoat. Apply multiple thin coats to ensure a smooth metallic finish. Then, use a detail brush to pick out smaller details with colors like Runefang Steel for highlights and Nuln Oil for shading. - Step 6: Detail the Weapons
The Kataphron Breachers have various weapon systems. Use appropriate colors like Mephiston Red for plasma cannons or Abaddon Black for hydraulic pistons. Apply multiple thin coats and use a small brush to carefully paint these weapon details. - Step 7: Paint the Lenses
The lenses on the Kataphron Breachers helmets and visors can be painted with colors like Moot Green for a vibrant green look or Averland Sunset for a bright yellow. Apply the chosen color carefully to each lens, ensuring a smooth and even coverage. - Step 8: Add Finishing Touches
To complete the painting process, add finishing touches to the Kataphron Breachers. Paint any additional details, such as symbols or icons, using suitable colors like Abaddon Black or Ulthuan Grey. Use a fine detail brush for these final touches.
