How to paint the Cadre Fireblade set

  1. Step 1: Armor
Begin by painting the Cadre Fireblade’s armor in a crisp white shade, such as White Scar. Apply thin layers to achieve an even and smooth coverage. This color serves as the foundation for the model’s distinctive appearance.
  2. Step 2: Clothing
Direct your attention to the pieces of clothing on the Fireblade. Use a vibrant red color like Wazdakka Red to paint these areas. Apply multiple layers if needed to enhance the depth of the color.
  3. Step 3: Accents
Now, add depth and visual interest to the Fireblade’s armor. Paint intricate details with complementary colors. For example, use Fire Dragon Bright for orange accents and Abaddon Black for bold black elements. These touches infuse character into the model.
  4. Step 4: Weapon
Focus on the Fireblade’s weapon. Paint it in a clean white color, similar to the one you used on the armor, in our case, White Scar. This choice brings a sense of purity and authority to the miniature.
  5. Step 5: Weapon Details
Enhance the weapon’s appearance by painting details with precision. Use a fine brush to add black and red accents to the weapon, reflecting the Cadre Fireblade’s distinctive style. Abaddon Black and Mephiston Red are some good options for this.
  6. Step 6: Skin
Turn your attention to the Fireblade’s skin. Use a cool blue-grey color like The Fang to paint the skin areas. Apply a thin layer to capture the character’s complexion.
  7. Step 7: Shading
To create depth and realism, gently apply a shade like Drakenhof Nightshade to the skin’s recesses. This technique emphasizes the contours and adds dimension to the Fireblade’s face.
