How to paint the Goliath Truck set
- Step 1: Paint the main body with Leadbelcher.
To start, take your Goliath Truck set and apply a base coat of Leadbelcher to the main body of the truck. This metallic color will serve as the foundation for the vehicle’s appearance. - Step 2: Apply a shade of Nuln Oil.
Once the Leadbelcher base coat is dry, use Nuln Oil to add depth and shadows to the truck’s surface. Apply the shade evenly, allowing it to settle into the crevices and recesses for a more realistic look. - Step 3: Layer with Stormhost Silver.
Next, use Stormhost Silver to layer on top of the Leadbelcher. This layering technique will enhance the metallic effect and create highlights on the truck’s surface, adding dimension to the model. - Step 4: Paint the exhaust pipes with Auric Armour Gold.
For the exhaust pipes, use Auric Armour Gold to add a contrasting color. This rich gold hue will stand out against the metallic body and give the truck a unique and eye-catching detail. - Step 5: Add red and black details.
Now it’s time to add some small but important details to the truck. Use Mephiston Red and Abaddon Black to paint specific parts, such as warning signs, hazard symbols, or any other intricate elements you want to highlight. These bold colors will add visual interest and realism to the model. - Step 6: Paint the crew’s clothing armor in pale blue.
For the crew members, paint their clothing armor with Fenrisian Grey. This will give them a unified appearance and make them easily distinguishable from the rest of the truck. Remember to use thin layers to avoid obscuring the model’s fine details. - Step 7: Paint the crew’s exposed heads with a flesh tone.
To bring life to the crew, use Rakarth Flesh to paint their exposed heads. This will give them a human touch and make the model more engaging. Consider using washes to add shadows and highlights to the faces for a more realistic effect.
