How to paint the Zodgrod Wortsnagga set

  1. Step 1: Prime Your Miniature
Start by priming your Zodgrod Wortsnagga model with Chaos Black or any other primer of your choice. This creates a smooth surface for the paint to adhere to.
  2. Step 2: Basecoat the Model
Apply a basecoat of paint to Zodgrod’s skin and clothing. For the skin, use a green color like Warboss Green, and for the clothing, you can use a brown color like Rhinox Hide.
  3. Step 3: Paint the Details
Next, paint the details on the model, such as the Squigstoppa Numba 5 and the needles that Zodgrod wields. Use suitable colors for the different components, like metallic colors for the Squigstoppa and contrasting colors for the needles.
  4. Step 4: Highlight the Skin and Clothing
Using a lighter green color like Skarsnik Green, carefully apply highlights to Zodgrod’s skin. For the clothing, use a brighter brown color like Mournfang Brown to add highlights to the edges and raised areas.
  5. Step 5: Add Final Details
With a fine brush, add any final touches to the model, such as intricate designs or patterns on the clothing. Use contrasting colors to make these details pop. For example, you can paint the hair Mechanicus Standard Grey and add shade it with Nuln Oil.
  6. Step 6: Varnish and Protect
To preserve your masterpiece, apply a protective layer of varnish over the entire model. This will safeguard the paint job and prevent any damage over time.
