How to paint the Termagants and Ripper Swarm using the paints included in the set
- Step 1: Basecoat
Start by applying a basecoat of Corax White to all the Termagants and Ripper Swarm models. This will provide a light and neutral base color for further painting. - Step 2: Skin
Use Wraithbone to paint the skin areas of the Termagants. Apply thin, even layers to achieve smooth coverage. This will give the Termagants a bone-like appearance. - Step 3: Claws and Gun Details
For the claws and gun details of the Termagants, use Thunderhawk Blue. This vibrant blue color will add a striking contrast to the overall scheme. - Step 4: Carapace and Chitin Armor
Paint the carapace and chitin armor of the Termagants and Ripper Swarm with Naggaroth Night. This deep purple shade will create a visually appealing contrast with the white and blue tones. - Step 5: Carapace Shading
Apply Magos Purple to shade the carapace areas. This will add depth and definition to the intricate details of the models. - Step 6: Bases
Apply Armageddon Dust to the bases of the models. This will create a textured and earthy surface for them to stand on. You can also glue some rocks or grass to the base to add to the scenery. - Step 7: Varnish (optional)
Once the paint has dried, consider applying a varnish to protect the paint job and give the models a finished look.
